The government is working relentlessly to build a developed and talented nation by 2041. In continuation of this, the Department of Primary Education is continuing its efforts to build a meritorious nation by ensuring merit-based, quality, and sustainable primary education. Pre-primary education has been introduced in all schools to ensure a hundred percent allowance and prevent dropouts. Besides, one pre-primary teacher has been appointed in each government primary school. New teachers are being recruited every year to keep the class activities of the school normal. And without knowing the academic skills of all these new and old teachers, the training department has continued various training and other activities. The Upazila Resource Center is organizing and implementing necessary training to build up-to-date and quality teaching skills. In the last three years, subject-based training has been provided to 2,060 teachers. Also, revitalized training has been provided on the completed training. Various types of training and other collaborations have been organized for the headteachers who are unfamiliar with the skills of academic supervision and systematic management of the school. Laptops and multimedia projectors have been provided to every school with the aim of building a digital Bangladesh. More than one teacher from each school has been trained on ICT. The officials of this department are ensuring the application and implementation of the trained knowledge in the classroom through regular e-monitoring including school inspection, academic supervision, lesson monitoring, sub-cluster training inspection. Assistance has been provided for the implementation of training of teacher trainers.
